Meet Karli

When my daughter was 9 months old, I stumbled across a post on Facebook of a 9 month old floating unassisted in a pool. I was blown away! How is that even possible at 9 months old? So, I started researching and realized that it was possible through ISR Lessons. I immediately went to ISR's website to search for an instructor in my area. I was shocked to learn that the closest instructor was over 60 miles away. With working fulltime, I couldn't figure out how to enroll my daughter. So instead, I settled for traditional swim lessons. At a year old, my daughter took swim lessons for 6 weeks. After that 6 week period, she couldn't do anything. She couldn't float, she couldn't swim, all she learned was that water was fun. Which sounds great, but what happens if she finds the water when no one is around?

I started looking into how to bring ISR lessons to more communities in Wisconsin. After digging into the details, it hit me, why not me? Why can't I bring lessons to families in the Midwest? So I started the journey of becoming a Certified ISR Instructor and haven't looked back!

About ISR

Copy of 1K1A2450.jpg

ISR’s unique results are achieved through fully customized, safe and effective, one-on-one lessons with only your child and the Instructor in the water. What your child will learn, and the way he or she will learn it, is what makes ISR so different from traditional swimming lessons.

Always putting safety first, ISR emphasizes competence, which leads to confidence, and provides the foundation for a lifetime of enjoyment in and around the water.

What your child will learn depends on his or her age and developmental readiness, but in all cases, at minimum, your child will learn to roll onto his or her back to float, rest, and breathe, and to maintain this position until help arrives.
